Waiter / Steward

About the Role

The Waiter/Steward is the entry point into Pizza 4P's Front of House team. This level is designed to build foundational habits in hospitality, personal discipline, and basic service execution. Partners at this level learn and practise core Service SOPs under close supervision, developing the attitude, hygiene standards, and team-first mindset required to grow within the Pizza 4P's Career Pathway.

Key Responsibilities

• Learn and demonstrate basic Service SOPs including greeting, table setup, water service, food running, and clearing.
• Seek and apply feedback from Trainers and Leaders to improve performance daily.
• Greet guests warmly and politely using standard phrases and appropriate body language.
• Assist with table setup, water refills, and clearing under the direction of senior Partners.
• Observe senior team members to absorb the service flow and Omotenashi principles.
• Maintain cleanliness of assigned service areas, tables, and utensils throughout the shift.
• Uphold personal grooming and uniform standards at all times per company policy.
• Support teammates during peak service periods and respond promptly to assigned tasks.
• Communicate respectfully and clearly with kitchen, bar, and fellow service staff.
• Arrive on time, in uniform, and prepared for each shift.
