What you’ll do 

• Sourcing & RFx Execution: Lead Request for Proposals (RFPs) and Quotations (RFQs) for software licenses, SaaS platforms, cloud services, and hardware infrastructure.
• Vendor Negotiation: Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, volume discounts, and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with technology vendors.
• Contract & Risk Management: Review vendor terms and identify/mitigate commercial, legal, and data security risks in collaboration with legal and infosec teams.
• Spend Tracking & Cost Control: Monitor actual IT spend against planned budgets and identify continuous cost-saving opportunities.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with internal IT, engineering, and finance teams to forecast technology needs and streamline purchasing requirements.
• Supplier Performance Management: Track vendor delivery, performance KPIs, and license renewals.

What you’ll need 

• Experience: 5 to 10 years of tactical or strategic procurement experience, with a core focus on IT commodities (hardware/software/SaaS).
• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with software licensing models (per user, enterprise, consumption-based cloud) and IT infrastructure components.
• Software Proficiency: Experience with ERP/Procurement platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Coupa, or Ariba) and advanced data analysis in Excel.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional negotiation, cross-functional communication, and analytical problem-solving abilities.
