JDE BI Publisher Developer

Location    Bangalore (Preferred)    

Experience    10+ years overall; 5+ years in JDE BI Publisher

Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced JDE BI Publisher Developer to design, develop, enhance, and support enterprise reporting solutions within the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne environment. The role requires strong hands-on expertise in JDE BI Publisher, report migration, data extraction, template development, performance optimization, and collaboration with global functional and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities
•    Design, develop, enhance, and maintain BI Publisher reports for JD Edwards EnterpriseOne.
•    Create and modify RTF, Excel, PDF, and eText templates using Oracle BI Publisher.
•    Develop and optimize JDE data models, Business Views, XML data sources, and SQL queries.
•    Develop and support JDE batch applications (UBEs), document outputs, and operational reports.
•    Migrate legacy reports from Createform/Createform! and other reporting platforms to JDE BI Publisher.
•    Work with business stakeholders and functional consultants to gather, analyze, and translate reporting requirements into technical solutions.

Required Skills and Experience
•    10+ years of overall IT experience in enterprise application development, ERP reporting, or related technologies.
•    Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in JD Edwards (JDE) BI Publisher development.
•    Strong expertise in Oracle BI Publisher within the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne ecosystem.
•    Hands-on experience with JDE Business Views, UBE reports, Data Structures, table structures, and report development.
•    Experience migrating reports from Createform/Createform! to JDE BI Publisher.
•    Strong proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, XML, XSLT, XPath, and RTF template development.
•    Good understanding of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne architecture and reporting framework.
•    Experience with JDE functional areas such as Finance, Procurement, Manufacturing, Inventory, Logistics, or Supply Chain.
•    Strong troubleshooting, debugging, root-cause analysis, and performance-tuning skills.
•    Experience with Agile and/or Waterfall delivery models, testing, release management, and production support.
•    Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with global teams and business stakeholders.
•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications
•    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
•    Oracle BI Publisher certification is preferred.
•    Experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne upgrades, Tools Releases, ESUs, and package deployments.
•    Exposure to Oracle Integration Cloud, Oracle Analytics Cloud, or other Oracle reporting and integration technologies.
•    Experience in large-scale JDE transformation, modernization, or migration initiatives.
