Lead Quality Assurance Engineer ( Selenium, Playwright)

We are seeking a Lead QA Automation Engineer with 7+ years of experience developing automated test solutions across multiple technology platforms and designing scalable test automation frameworks. This role offers the opportunity to lead automation initiatives, influence quality strategy, and establish best practices across enterprise applications and data platforms. As a member of our Quality Engineering team, you will work closely with Development, Product, and Data Engineering teams in an agile environment to deliver high-quality solutions through automation, data validation, and continuous testing. The ideal candidate is passionate about quality, innovation, and continuous improvement. This is a hands-on role requiring experience with multiple automation technologies, including UI, API, and data validation testing.

About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments     

• 7+ years of QA and Test Automation experience, including 3+ years leading automation initiatives and technical QA teams in enterprise environments.
• Expertise in designing and building enterprise-scale automation frameworks from the ground up, with strong knowledge of framework architecture, design patterns, and maintainability best practices.
• Strong hands-on experience with Selenium, Playwright, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Python for automating enterprise applications, APIs, integrations, and data validation processes.
• Proven experience implementing Data-Driven/Test-Driven automation frameworks, code reviews, CI/CD integration, Git version control, and resolving branching and merge conflicts.
• Experience working independently in Agile and DevOps environments while continuously adopting new automation tools and technologies.

It would be great if you also have:     

• Salesforce automation experience.
• Knowledge of data warehouse testing concepts and ETL testing methodologies.

An exceptional candidate will have:

• Experience with AI-assisted test automation tools and methodologies.
• Previous Experience with validating data migrations, data transformations, and data quality.

What will you be doing in this role?    

• Own the end-to-end automation strategy, including Salesforce, UI, API, integration, and data validation testing.
• Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable test automation frameworks across enterprise applications and data platforms.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts and enhancements based on prioritized backlog from stakeholders.
• Establish QA engineering best practices, coding standards, code reviews, and scalable testing processes to ensure quality and maintainability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor QA engineers while driving automation-first practices and continuous adoption of modern testing technologies.    
• Evaluate, implement, and optimize AI-assisted automation capabilities to improve testing efficiency and coverage.

Hours of Work   

• Fulltime in IST zone   

• 40 h/week

Our Quality Assurance Automation team is responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and integrity of both enterprise applications and critical data platforms. We partner closely with Product, Development, Data Engineering, and Business teams to deliver high-quality automated testing solutions using Selenium, Playwright, UFT, and Python frameworks.
