• Primary skills:Technology->Oracle->PL,SQL Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (BE/BTech/BSc) or Master’s degree equivalent (MTech/MCA/MSc). - 3–5 years of hands-on experience with Oracle PL/SQL development. - Strong proficiency in SQL, including joins, subqueries, aggregations, and query optimization basics. - Experience writing maintainable code with proper error handling, logging, and documentation practices. - Ability to troubleshoot data issues and collaborate effectively with technical and business stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience designing data models and working with complex schemas in Oracle databases. - Exposure to performance tuning techniques (execution plans, indexing strategies, query refactoring). - Familiarity with ETL/data processing patterns and batch job design using PL/SQL. - Experience with version control and structured release practices in enterprise environments. - Strong communication skills to explain technical trade-offs and support requirement discussions. Good to have skills: Oracle Performance Tuning, Data Modeling, ETL Concepts, Unix/Linux Shell Scripting, Git Key Responsibilities: Database Development & Enhancement - Develop, enhance, and maintain Oracle PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and views. - Implement SQL/PLSQL logic to support application features, reporting, and data processing needs. - Translate functional requirements into technical designs and well-structured database components. Performance & Reliability - Analyze and tune SQL queries and PL/SQL code for performance, scalability, and stability. - Identify bottlenecks using execution plans and apply indexing/rewriting strategies where appropriate. - Ensure data integrity and consistency through validations, constraints, and robust exception handling. Delivery & Collaboration - Participate in code reviews, follow coding standards, and maintain clear technical documentation. - Support deployments across environments and assist with production issues, root-cause analysis, and fixes. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to clarify requirements, estimate work, and deliver on timelines.
