The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As a 3M Supplier Performance Specialist, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. This role will be based in the Global Capability Centre (GCC) in India and will operate as an Individual contributor role. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Lead supplier performance management for assigned 3M business groups and manufacturing/distribution sites, aligned with Enterprise Supply Chain strategies.
• Work closely with 3M operations to ensure supply continuity, address systemic supply issues, and drive improvement actions.
• Engage directly with external suppliers to resolve issues, improve relationships, and support supplier performance reviews.

• Develop and lead supplier performance improvement strategies for assigned divisions, plants, and suppliers.
• Support standardized supplier risk, performance management, and measurement processes for plants and distribution centers.
• Build strong partnerships with suppliers and internal stakeholders while integrating Strategic Sourcing and Packaging Solutions inputs into operational supplier performance activities.

Your Skills and Expertise 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in a related discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in strong supplier relationship management, negotiation, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills to manage complex stakeholder relationships.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Results-driven self-starter with strong attention to detail, project management excellence, process orientation, and execution capability.
• Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate across teams, manage priorities, and deliver quality outcomes on time.

Work Location: Hebbal, Bangalore (Karnataka), Hybrid Mode
