Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior GCP Cloud Engineer to design implement manage and support highly available and secure Google Cloud infrastructure The candidate will be responsible for daytoday cloud operations infrastructure automation security monitoring troubleshooting and supporting production and DR environments

The role requires strong handson experience with GCP infrastructure networking IAM compute Kubernetes security monitoring backupDR and Terraform along with the ability to independently handle complex technical issues

Key Responsibilities

Design deploy and manage GCP infrastructure across production nonproduction and DR environments

Manage GCP VPCs subnets firewall rules Cloud NAT Cloud Router VPC Peering Private Service Connect VPN and Interconnect

Configure and troubleshoot Cloud DNS Load Balancing GCP VPN routing and network connectivity

Manage Compute Engine VMs instance templates managed instance groups disks snapshots and backup solutions

Administer Google Kubernetes Engine GKE clusters including node pools upgrades networking scaling and troubleshooting

Implement and manage IAM service accounts roles policies Workload Identity and leastprivilege access

Work with Cloud KMS Secret Manager Security Command Center Cloud Armor VPC Service Controls and Sensitive Data ProtectionDLP

Implement infrastructure using Terraform Infrastructure as Code IaC

Manage Cloud Monitoring Cloud Logging ing dashboards and operational monitoring

Configure and troubleshoot DNS logging audit logging security monitoring and operational s

Manage backup snapshot restoration and disaster recovery activities

Participate in DR planning testing failoverfailback exercises and recovery validation

Troubleshoot complex infrastructure networking authentication performance and availability issues

Coordinate with Google Cloud Support and other technology teams for critical incidents and RCA

Implement cloud security and operational best practices in line with enterprise policies

Perform capacity planning performance optimization and cost optimization

Support cloud migrations and onboarding of new applicationsprojects

Prepare and maintain HLDLLD SOPs runbooks operational procedures and technical documentation

Participate in 24x7 oncall production support as required

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should be a handson senior GCP engineer capable of independently managing enterprise cloud infrastructure resolving complex production issues implementing automation and supporting security and DR requirements

Musthave Strong handson experience in GCP Networking Compute IAM GKE Terraform Monitoring Production Troubleshooting
