NPD MANAGER

We are looking for an experienced NPD Manager for our plastic manufacturing company. The candidate must have strong experience in New Product Development within the plastic industry, especially injection moulding and plastic houseware products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage new product development from concept to final production.
• Coordinate product design, mould/tool development, sampling and prototyping.
• Work with vendors for mould development, modifications and trials.
• Ensure product quality and resolve issues during the NPD process.
• Coordinate with production, quality, design and purchase teams.
• Manage project timelines, cost optimisation and value engineering (VA/VE).
• Conduct product trials and ensure smooth handover to production.
• Maintain NPD documentation, drawings, samples and project reports.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in New Product Development.
• Must have experience in the plastic manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of plastic injection moulding and mould/tool development.
• Experience in NPD quality, sampling, prototyping and product trials.
• Good coordination, problem-solving and project management skills.
• Houseware product experience will be an added advantage.
