Field Officer – Agriculture (3–5 openings) | Western Odisha- Bagumunda, Balangir

Regen Agri Pvt Ltd | Full-time, permanent

Regen Agri works with farmers and farmer groups on sustainable and organic

cotton and other crops. The job is a mix of village visits and record-keeping in a local office.

What you will do

• Visit farmers regularly and build a working relationship with them.

• Train farmers on sowing, spacing, fertiliser use, pest control, picking

 and storage.

• Work with NGOs, FPOs and local agriculture officers.

• Organise farmer meetings, demonstrations and group training.

• Collect field data: land area, crop stage, expected yield, pest problems.

• Keep farmer registration, visit records, training attendance and

 certification records complete and correct.

• Enter data in Excel and a mobile app; prepare weekly and monthly reports.

• Help the team prepare for inspections and audits.

Must have

• B.Sc. / M.Sc. Agriculture, or a Diploma in Agriculture.

• Fluent Odia — you will talk to farmers every day.

• Own two-wheeler and a valid driving licence; ready to travel 25–50 km on

 most working days.

• Careful with paperwork. Good field work is wasted if the records are wrong.

• Basic Excel and Word; comfortable with a mobile app for data entry.

• Willing to live in the district (shared at the first call).

Good to have

• Hindi or English.

• Knowledge of NOP / NPOP organic standards or the Regen Agri Standards.

• Experience with an NGO, FPO or organic certification project.

• Experience running farmer training or farmer groups.

Pay and terms

As per company standards depending on experience, plus per-kilometre

field travel reimbursement against a visit log. Six-month probation, 30

days' notice after confirmation, six-day week with Sunday off. Interviews

are on video call. Document verification and references before an offer.
