Job Summary:

The Waiter/Steward is responsible for providing excellent food and beverage service to guests by ensuring prompt, courteous, and professional service. The role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience for all guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome guests warmly and escort them to their tables.
• Present menus and explain menu items, daily specials, and promotions.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally.
• Ensure guest satisfaction by responding to requests and resolving minor concerns promptly.
• Clear and reset tables after guests leave.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the dining area, service stations, and equipment.
• Assist in table setup before service and closing duties after service.
• Coordinate with the kitchen and bar to ensure timely order delivery.
• Follow hotel SOPs, hygiene standards, and food safety regulations.
• Handle guest feedback politely and escalate complaints to the supervisor when required.
• Support banquet, room service, and special events as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum qualification: 10th/12th Pass or Diploma in Hotel Management.
• 0–2 years of experience in hotel, restaurant, or hospitality service.
• Freshers with a positive attitude and willingness to learn may also apply.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Good grooming and professional appearance.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage service.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Teamwork and coordination skills.
• Basic English and Hindi communication (local language is an advantage).
• Working Conditions Rotational shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Standing for long hours and carrying food trays when required.
• Maintaining high standards of personal hygiene and grooming.
