Civil Site Engineer

Managing daily construction activities on-site to ensure projects are built safely, correctly, and on schedule.

Site Supervision and Execution

• Interpreting drawings: Reading structural and architectural plans to guide workers.
• Setting out the site: Plotting lines, levels, and boundaries accurately.
• Supervising daily work: Assigning tasks to laborers and overseeing subcontractors.
• Checking steel and concrete: Inspecting rebar placement and formwork before pouring concrete.

Quality and Safety Control

• Testing materials: Checking the quality of cement, sand, steel, and bricks.
• Enforcing safety rules: Making sure workers wear protective gear and follow safety protocols.
• Inspecting work: Ensuring construction matches design specifications and industry standards.

Planning and Management

• Tracking progress: Monitoring work schedules and reporting delays.
• Managing resources: Organizing raw materials and equipment availability.
• Solving problems: Fixing technical difficulties that happen on-site.
• Keeping records: Writing daily progress reports and maintaining site logs.
