Job Description
Job Title: Vehicle Transport Maintenance Executive
Job Summary:
The Vehicle Transport Maintenance Executive is responsible for managing and maintaining all vehicle-related records, repairs, maintenance schedules, and operational support for the transport fleet. The role involves monitoring vehicle servicing, maintaining data in Excel, coordinating with vendors for repairs, and handling administrative tasks related to drivers, insurance, and payments.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and update vehicle repair and maintenance records in Excel on a regular basis.
Coordinate with service centers and vendors for vehicle repair and servicing.
Monitor preventive maintenance schedules for all fleet vehicles.
Track and follow up on vehicle maintenance bills and payment processing.
Maintain proper records of vehicle documents such as insurance, permits, and fitness certificates.
Follow up on vehicle insurance renewals and ensure timely compliance.
Prepare and manage driver salary sheets and payment records.
Maintain and update fleet management data, including vehicle usage, mileage, and service history.
Coordinate with drivers regarding vehicle issues, breakdowns, and service requirements.
Generate monthly reports on vehicle maintenance and expenses.
Ensure vehicles are maintained in safe and operational condition.
Required Skills:
Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and data management
Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance and fleet operations
Strong follow-up and coordination skills
Good record-keeping and documentation skills
Ability to manage multiple vehicle records and schedules
Qualifications:
Any degree or diploma
Prior experience in transport, logistics, or fleet administration is preferred.
