Garments Tailor / Sample Master – Job Criteria


Designation: Garments Tailor / Pattern Maker & Sample Master


Stitch the first sample/prototype garment.

Handle complete sample development from pattern making → cutting → stitching → finishing.

Check fitting, measurements, shape, and garment construction.

Make alterations and corrections based on sample feedback.

Prepare final approved sample for production.

Coordinate with Designer, Merchandiser, Production, and Quality teams.

Maintain measurement charts, patterns, and sample records.

Ensure the final sample matches the approved design and specifications.
