Job Description
Location & Rotation
Base: Chennai
Travel: Chittoor District (Andhra Pradesh) & Kerala project sites
Rotation: 20 days outstation / 10 days at Chennai off
Joining: Immediate / within 15 days preferred
Role Responsibilities
● Execute weekly, monthly, and annual maintenance checklists at STP sites
● Implement and monitor preventive maintenance schedules
● Collect and check water/effluent samples; monitor plant performance parameters
● Coordinate and oversee day-to-day plant operations with plant operators
● Report operational status and issues to Head Office / Head of Operations
● Work under the direction of the Head – Operations for implementation tasks
Requirements
● Minimum 10th/12th pass; ITI/Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical, or B.Sc. (Chemistry/Physics/Microbiology) preferred
● Age: 19–27 years, including freshers
● Willingness to learn and adapt
● Basic understanding of water treatment or STP operations is sufficient
● Electrical and mechanical aptitude preferred
● Willingness to travel and stay outstation on a rotational basis
Training
● Duration: 30–60 days at project location in Trivandrum (based on learning pace)
● Stipend: ₹10,000/month + Accommodation Allowance ₹2,000
Post-Training (Up to 1 Year)
● Designation: Junior STP Technician
● Salary: ₹13,500/month + ₹150/day outstation allowance
● ESI applicable as per standard norms
● Travel and accommodation booked by company (actuals, approved facility range)
● Project-site accommodation to be used where available
Note
● Salary variable depending on capability, academic background, and on-field performance
Annual Increment & Career Growth
● 5–10% increment based on annual performance review
● Career ladder upgrade: Junior STP Technician → STP Technician → Senior STP Technician (based on performance, ownership, and technical competency)
