AC Technician

• Install, service, maintain, and repair split, window, cassette, ductable, and VRF/VRV AC systems.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults in air-conditioning equipment.
• Check and repair compressors, condensers, evaporators, blower motors, thermostats, PCB boards, and other components.
• Perform refrigerant gas charging, recovery, leak detection, and pressure testing.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance as per schedule.
• Clean filters, coils, drain lines, condenser units, and other AC components.
• Check electrical connections, voltage, current, and system performance.
• Replace defective parts and ensure proper system operation after repairs.
• Maintain service records, maintenance reports, and job completion reports.
• Follow safety procedures and use appropriate tools and personal protective equipment.
• Attend customer/site complaints and complete service requests within the required time.
• Coordinate with supervisors and other maintenance staff when required.
• Required Skills & QualificationsITI / Diploma in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, Electrical, or a related field.
• 1–5 years of relevant experience as an AC/HVAC Technician.
• Good knowledge of AC installation, servicing, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Knowledge of electrical circuits and basic refrigeration principles.
• Ability to use electrical and HVAC testing instruments.
• Ability to identify faults and perform repairs independently.
• Good communication and customer-service skills.
• Willingness to travel to customer or project sites when required.

Working ConditionsThe role may require working at commercial buildings, residential properties, factories, construction sites, or other customer locations. The technician may occasionally be required to work overtime or outside normal working hours during emergency breakdowns.
