HVAC TechnicianJob SummaryWe are looking for a skilled and experienced HVAC Technician to handle the installation, maintenance, servicing, troubleshooting, and repair of air-conditioning and HVAC systems. The technician will be responsible for ensuring HVAC equipment operates efficiently, safely, and reliably while identifying and resolving technical issues.

• Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, inspect, maintain, service, and repair various HVAC and air-conditioning systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration-related issues in HVAC equipment.
• Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of AC and HVAC systems.
• Check and maintain compressors, condensers, evaporators, blowers, motors, thermostats, and related components.
• Identify refrigerant leakage and perform refrigerant charging, recovery, and related servicing as required.
• Check and troubleshoot electrical components such as wiring, capacitors, contactors, relays, MCBs, sensors, and control panels.
• Monitor HVAC system performance and ensure proper cooling, airflow, temperature, and pressure levels.
• Carry out cleaning and maintenance of filters, coils, ducts, drain lines, and other HVAC components.
• Replace damaged or faulty components and ensure proper functioning after repairs.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify potential equipment problems and minimize breakdowns.
• Maintain service records, maintenance reports, and details of repairs carried out.
• Follow all required safety procedures and technical standards while working on HVAC equipment.
• Coordinate with supervisors, customers, or other maintenance teams regarding HVAC-related issues.
• Ensure tools, equipment, and spare parts required for servicing are properly maintained and used.
• RequirementsHands-on experience as an HVAC Technician / AC Technician / Refrigeration Technician.
• Practical knowledge of HVAC system installation, servicing, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of electrical and refrigeration components used in HVAC systems.
• Ability to diagnose technical problems and carry out appropriate repairs.
• Ability to work independently as well as as part of a maintenance or technical team.
• Good knowledge of workplace safety practices.
• ITI, Diploma, or relevant technical qualification will be an advantage.
