Canter Driver – Job DescriptionPosition: Canter Driver

Job Type: Full-Time

• Job ResponsibilitiesDrive the Canter/light commercial vehicle safely for local and outstation deliveries.
• Transport goods from the warehouse to customers, branches, or designated locations.
• Ensure timely pickup and delivery of materials.
• Load, unload, and properly secure goods when required.
• Check the vehicle before and after each trip and report any defects or maintenance issues.
• Maintain delivery challans, trip sheets, fuel records, and other required documents.
• Follow traffic rules, company safety policies, and route instructions.
• Keep the vehicle clean and in good working condition.
• Coordinate with the logistics team, warehouse staff, and customers regarding deliveries.
• Handle goods carefully to prevent damage or loss.
• EligibilityValid LMV/HMV driving licence as applicable to the vehicle.
• Minimum 2–5 years of Canter/light commercial vehicle driving experience preferred.
• Good knowledge of local and nearby routes.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and road safety.
• Responsible, punctual, and physically fit.
• Ability to communicate politely with customers and company staff.
