Project Role : Database Administrator
Project Role Description : Administer, develop, test, or demonstrate databases. Perform many related database functions across one or more teams or clients, including designing, implementing and maintaining new databases, backup/recovery and configuration management. Install database management systems (DBMS) and provide input for modification of procedures and documentation used for problem resolution and day-to-day maintenance.

Summary: As a Database Administrator, you will administer, develop, test, or demonstrate databases. Perform many related database functions across one or more teams or clients, including designing, implementing and maintaining new databases, backup/recovery and configuration management. Install database management systems (DBMS) and provide input for modification of procedures and documentation used for problem resolution and day-to-day maintenance. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME - Collaborate and manage the team to perform - Responsible for team decisions - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions - Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams - Implement database security measures - Optimize database performance - Conduct regular database maintenance Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform - Strong understanding of database management systems - Experience in database design and implementation - Knowledge of backup and recovery procedures - Familiarity with configuration management tools Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 12 years of experience in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform - This position is based at our Chennai office - A 15 years full time education is required
