As a Database Administrator, a typical day involves designing, implementing, and maintaining robust database systems to support organizational needs. This role includes installing and configuring database management systems, ensuring their optimal performance and availability. The professional develops and follows procedures for routine maintenance and swiftly addresses any issues that arise to minimize downtime. Collaboration with various teams to align database solutions with business requirements is a key part of daily activities, along with monitoring system health and planning for future capacity and scalability.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Oversee the implementation of database security measures to protect sensitive information.
- Coordinate database backup and recovery processes to ensure data integrity and availability.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and enhance team capabilities.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in AWS Relational Database Service.
- Experience in database installation, configuration, and maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery techniques.
- Ability to monitor database performance and optimize queries for efficiency.
- Familiarity with database security best practices and access control mechanisms.
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database-related issues in a timely manner.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in AWS Relational Database Service.
- This position is based at Client Onsite - Within India.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
