FullStack Engineer

Cloud-Native Applications, AI Experience Layers and Enterprise Integration

The Opportunity

We are seeking a FullStack Engineer to design, build and support secure, scalable enterprise web applications and AI-enabled experience layers. The role combines modern frontend engineering, backend services, API and data integration, real-time streaming, cloud-native deployment, automated testing, accessibility, observability and production support.

The successful candidate should be able to discuss enterprise, pre-production or production implementations, including the business context, individual contribution, technical design, controls, delivery approach and outcomes. Certifications and personal demonstrations supplement, but do not replace, implementation experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and support responsive enterprise web applications, dashboards, chat interfaces, copilots and agent-based user experiences.
• Build reusable and accessible frontend components using React, TypeScript and Next.js or equivalent modern frameworks.
• Develop scalable backend services using Python and FastAPI, or .NET, Java or Node.js, following API-first and microservices patterns.
• Create and integrate REST or GraphQL APIs, enterprise services, workflow platforms, databases, search services and AI/LLM endpoints.
• Implement real-time interactions using WebSockets, Server-Sent Events or token streaming with resilient connection, retry and error-handling patterns.
• Design application state management, authentication and authorization, session handling, caching and secure client-server communication.
• Apply secure coding practices, input and output validation, secrets protection, dependency management, privacy controls and safe rendering of AI-generated content.
• Write unit, integration, API, UI and end-to-end automated tests; participate in code reviews, quality gates and release validation.
• Containerize services and contribute to CI/CD, cloud deployment, environment configuration, monitoring, logging and production support.
• Optimize performance, scalability, availability, accessibility, browser compatibility and user experience across frontend and backend components.
• Troubleshoot issues across UI, APIs, databases, cloud services, network paths, authentication, streaming and AI integrations.
• Prepare technical designs, API specifications, implementation documentation, test evidence and runbooks; contribute reusable components, SDKs and engineering standards.
• Collaborate with architects, UX designers, product owners, AI engineers, data engineers, security teams and business stakeholders; mentor junior developers where required.

Skills and Attributes

Professional Experience

• 4-8 years of experience in full-stack, frontend, backend or cloud-native application development.
• Hands-on experience delivering enterprise or client-facing applications through development, testing, deployment and production support.
• Experience integrating AI/ML, GenAI, chatbot, copilot or agent capabilities into web applications is preferred.

Frontend Skills

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript, React and modern web development; experience with Next.js is preferred.
• Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS, responsive design, component architecture, state management, forms, routing and browser behavior.
• Experience building reusable component libraries, typed API clients, dashboards, chat interfaces and accessible user experiences.
• Working knowledge of WebSockets, Server-Sent Events or token-level streaming and safe display of model-generated content.

Backend and Data Skills

• Strong proficiency in at least one backend stack such as Python with FastAPI, .NET, Java with Spring Boot, or Node.js.
• Experience with REST APIs, GraphQL, JSON, authentication, authorization, asynchronous processing, microservices and event-driven patterns.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases; exposure to NoSQL, MongoDB, Redis, ClickHouse, vector databases or enterprise search is beneficial.
• Understanding of GenAI and RAG integration, LLM APIs, prompt workflows, tool calling and agent-service integration is preferred.

Cloud, Quality and Operations Skills

• Experience with Azure, AWS or GCP and cloud-native application services.
• Working knowledge of Git, Docker, Kubernetes or managed containers, CI/CD, automated testing and environment configuration.
• Experience with logging, monitoring, tracing, performance optimization and production troubleshooting.
• Understanding of application security, OWASP practices, privacy, accessibility, secure SDLC and Responsible AI controls for AI-enabled applications.

Soft Skills

• Strong problem-solving, design thinking, code quality and technical documentation skills.
• Good communication and collaboration across UX, product, architecture, AI, data, platform and security teams.
• Ability to translate business and user requirements into maintainable, high-quality technical solutions.

Education and Preferred Certifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Relevant cloud, application development, DevOps or AI certifications are preferred.
