Job Title: Field Service Engineer / Technician (UPS, Inverter & Battery)

Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu (Field Visits Across Chennai)

Job Type: Full-time (Field-based)

Reports To: Operations & Administrative Coordinator

About the RoleWe are hiring 3 hands-on Field Service Engineers / Technicians specializing in UPS systems, power inverters, and battery banks across Chennai. In this role, you will travel to customer sites (residential, commercial, and industrial) to handle new installations, routine battery testing, routine maintenance, and repair troubleshooting. You will work closely with our central Operations Coordinator to receive daily schedules and report job completions.

• Key ResponsibilitiesOn-Site Technical Service & Installation:

• Install, configure, and commission single-phase/three-phase UPS systems, power inverters, and battery banks.
• Perform preventive maintenance, battery capacity testing, voltage checks, distilled water topping/cleaning, and load testing.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair technical faults in UPS cards, inverter circuits, and battery connectivity issues.
• Job Reporting & Coordination:

• Report daily service visit statuses, battery test parameters, and parts replacement details to the Operations Coordinator.
• Coordinate with the Coordinator for stock pick-up of new batteries, UPS units, spare parts, or replacement items.
• Customer Support:

• Explain basic safety protocols, operating guidelines, and battery maintenance tips to clients.
• Collect customer sign-offs and delivery receipts upon task completion.
• Key Requirements & QualificationsTechnical Skills: Basic hands-on knowledge or experience servicing/installing UPS, Inverters, Lead-Acid / Tubular / Lithium Batteries, and DC power systems.
• Education: ITI / Diploma / BE in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE), Electronics, or related technical trades. (Freshers with relevant technical training are welcome to apply).License & Vehicle: Must possess a valid driving license and a personal two-wheeler for field travel within Chennai.
