Job Description

  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for fabric, materials, packaging, and other store requirements.
  • Source products and materials based on company requirements and quality standards.
  • Negotiate with vendors to get competitive pricing and favourable terms.
  • Create, process, and track purchase orders.
  • Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Check received materials against purchase orders and requirements.
  • Maintain accurate vendor records, purchase records, invoices, and procurement documents.
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the concerned teams for timely replenishment.
  • Compare vendor quotations and assist in selecting suitable suppliers.
  • Maintain proper records of purchase costs, delivery status, and supplier details.
  • Coordinate with accounts and store teams regarding purchases, invoices, and payments.
  • Develop and maintain good relationships with suppliers and vendors.
  • Ensure purchases are made within the approved budget and required timelines.
  • RequirementsB.Com, BBA, or any relevant degree.
  • 1–3 years of experience in purchase/procurement/vendor management preferred.
  • Good negotiation and communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge of MS Excel and purchase documentation.
  • Ability to coordinate with multiple vendors and follow up regularly.
  • Good understanding of inventory and stock management.
  • Candidates with experience in textiles, fabrics, retail, or wholesale will be preferred.
