Senior Sales Commission Analyst

We are looking for Senior Sales Commission Analyst to join our Sales Commission team in Chennai, who can support in leading best-in-class sales commission processes. The candidate should be able to meet operational performance objectives, identifies, and execute on ideas that allow for continuous improvement in existing processes. Works collaboratively with internal teams and respective Sales Operations team and with key external stakeholders from sales to ensure departmental objectives are met. 

Perform the end-to-end commission process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Involves collaborating with sales leadership to design effective sales plans, conducting analyses, and implementing improvements to commission structures and reporting.

 

About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments. 

 

 

• Minimum 5 years working with SAP Incentive Management (SAP Commissions formerly Callidus). 
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent 
• Responsible for managing and analyzing sales compensation data to ensure accurate and timely commission calculations. Involves collaborating with sales and finance teams to optimize commission structures and reporting processes. 

• Working knowledge of principles like Bonus vs. commission, Draws, Variable commission weightings 

• Ability to listen effectively and obtain necessary information in order to do business successfully in a virtual environment. 

• Working knowledge of principles like Bonus vs. commission, Draws, Variable commission weightings 

• Experience with SOX and general business compliance

• Good overall business knowledge. 

• Some experience with FTP or similar data transfer. 

• Excellent organizational and time management skills 

• Logical thinker with the ability to think strategically and creatively 

 

What will you be doing in this role? 

• Perform the end-to-end commission process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and adherence to best practices.  

• Develop and execute enhancements to commission structures and processes. 

• Recommend improvements to sales plans, incentives and processes.

• Conduct in-depth analyses and provide insights and recommendations on key performance measures and plan design.  

• Manage the commission reporting process, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports. 

• Provide consultation on milestone requirements to ensure timely and quality execution of overall Clarivate compensation calendar.  

• Single point of contact to sellers for sales compensation queries – manage all issues to completion. 

• Proactively identify and resolve commission discrepancies and provide support in resolving commission disputes. 

 

Hours of Work -2 PM to 11 PM IST (Mon-Friday).
