Job Description
Load raw materials, secure workpieces with clamps and fixtures, and install cutting tools.
Operation & Monitoring: Run VMC Operators programs, adjust feed and speed rates, and watch the machine to prevent errors.
Offsets & Codes: Set tool and work offsets, and edit basic G-code or M-code parameters as needed.
Quality Control: Inspect finished items with tools like micrometers and calipers to match blue print rules.
Maintenance: Keep the work area clean, check coolant levels, and report machine faults.
