Job Description
- Define Item, Bill of Material & Process routing for new products.
- Establish manufacturing processes and assembly work instructions based on the customer’s specification and provide training to technicians.
- Design Jigs and Fixtures to aid in the manufacturing process, especially on welding.
- Troubleshoot and optimize manufacturing processes.
- Define process required, study and special process or tooling requirements.
- Follow up and evaluate processes on the production floor.
- Develop 3D model and generate 2D flat pattern based on Customer drawing.
- Develop VMC program to produce precision components on Solid Machining and Casting components
- Estimate the cycle time based on 2D and 3D Drawings
- Able to interact with designer achieve the desired output on DFM and designs limitation
- Manage Engineering Change Request (ECR) process for NPI projects, for instance get approval from customers and DFM proposals.
- Manage NPI project related customer documentation (drawings, specifications, test procedures, work instructions etc.).
- Able to do technical documentation review, Creation of Process flow & PFMEA.
- Project analysis, Communication with Customers as an expertise
