Site Engineer

Site Engineer – CivilLocation: Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu

Experience: 3–6 Years

Salary: ₹25,000–₹35,000 per month

Job Description:

• Supervise and monitor day-to-day construction activities at the project site.
• Ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, architects, consultants, and clients.
• Check measurements, material requirements, and quality of construction work.
• Prepare daily site reports, work progress reports, measurements, and documentation.
• Monitor manpower, materials, equipment, and site productivity.
• Ensure proper execution of civil works including RCC, masonry, plastering, flooring, waterproofing, and finishing works.
• Identify site issues and coordinate with the concerned teams to resolve them.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and quality standards.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Track project progress and report delays or technical issues to the Project Manager.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure work meets required quality standards.

Required Skills:

• Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
• 3–6 years of relevant site experience.
• Good knowledge of construction methods and materials.
• Ability to read AutoCAD drawings.
• Knowledge of quantity estimation and measurements.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
• Ability to manage contractors and site workers.
• Willingness to work at construction/project sites.
