Supply Chain Executive

Job Title: SCM Executive (Supply Chain Management)

Department: Operations / Supply Chain

Reports To: SCM Manager / Operations Head

Employment Type: Full-time

Role Summary: We are looking for a detail-oriented SCM Executive to manage end-to-end supply chain activities including procurement, vendor coordination, inventory management, and logistics, ensuring smooth material flow to support business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and coordinate procurement of raw materials, components, and consumables as per production/project requirements
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard vendors/suppliers; negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules
• Track purchase orders from issuance to delivery, ensuring timely fulfillment
• Maintain and monitor inventory levels; conduct periodic stock audits and reconciliation
• Coordinate with logistics/transport partners for inbound and outbound shipments
• Ensure timely GRN (Goods Receipt Note) processing and quality checks on incoming materials
• Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, invoices, and vendor contracts
• Work closely with finance for vendor payment processing and reconciliation
• Analyze supply chain data to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
• Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory requirements (GST, e-way bills, etc.)
• Coordinate with production/project teams to forecast material requirements
• Manage documentation for imports/exports, if applicable

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Commerce, or related field
• 1–4 years of experience in procurement, SCM, or logistics (adjust based on seniority needed)
• Strong knowledge of inventory management and procurement processes
• Proficiency in MS Excel; familiarity with ERP/inventory software is a plus
• Good negotiation and vendor management skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
