Civil Site Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Civil Site Engineer to supervise and manage day-to-day construction activities across our residential projects in Bhubaneswar. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that work is executed as per drawings, specifications, quality standards and project timelines.

• Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise daily civil and construction activities at the project site.
• Execute work as per approved architectural and structural drawings.
• Monitor RCC, brickwork, plastering, waterproofing, flooring, tiling and finishing works.
• Coordinate with contractors, supervisors, labour teams, vendors and other agencies at site.
• Check measurements and quantities of work executed by contractors.
• Prepare and verify BOQs, material requirements and contractor bills.
• Monitor consumption of cement, steel and other construction materials and minimise wastage.
• Maintain daily site progress and material records.
• Conduct quality checks at different stages of construction.
• Coordinate with electrical, plumbing and other MEP teams during execution.
• Ensure work is completed according to the construction schedule.
• Identify site-level issues and coordinate with management/consultants for timely resolution.
• Ensure proper safety practices and housekeeping at the construction site.
• Provide regular progress updates to management.
• Candidate RequirementsQualification: Diploma/B.Tech/B.E. in Civil Engineering.
• Prior experience in residential building/apartment construction preferred.
• Good understanding of RCC and finishing works.
• Ability to read architectural and structural drawings independently.
• Knowledge of quantity estimation, BOQ, measurements and billing.
• Good knowledge of construction materials and site execution practices.
• Basic working knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Excel preferred.
• Should be comfortable handling contractors and labour teams independently.
• Candidate should be willing to travel between project sites within Bhubaneswar as required.

Preferred Candidate: Someone who is hands-on, disciplined about quality and measurements, and capable of taking ownership of day-to-day site execution.
