CCTV Electrician / CCTV Technician
🛠️ Job Overview
A CCTV Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting surveillance camera systems, wiring, and related electrical components to ensure security systems function effectively.
🎯 Key Responsibilities
Install and configure CCTV cameras (analog & IP cameras)Perform wiring, cabling, and connections (coaxial, LAN, fiber if needed)Set up DVR/NVR systems and monitorsEnsure proper camera positioning and coverageTroubleshoot and repair faults in CCTV systemsConduct regular maintenance and system upgradesConfigure remote viewing (mobile/laptop access)Maintain records of installations and service reportsEnsure safety standards during electrical work
🧰 Required Skills
Knowledge of CCTV systems (DVR, NVR, IP Cameras)Basic electrical and wiring knowledgeUnderstanding of networking (IP address, routers, LAN)Ability to use tools like drill machines, testers, crimping toolsProblem-solving and troubleshooting skillsBasic computer knowledge
🎓 Qualification
ITI / Diploma in Electrical / Electronics (preferred)Certification in CCTV installation (optional but good to have)
💼 Experience 1–3 years experience in CCTV installation or electrical work
⚙️ Working ConditionsField work (site visits required)May require working at heights or outdoor locationsFlexible hours depending on installation projects
💰 Salary
