Civil Engineer

We are looking for a skilled and responsible Civil Engineer to oversee civil construction, renovation, maintenance, and infrastructure-related activities at our resort properties. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all civil works are completed safely, on time, within budget, and according to required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and manage civil construction, renovation, repair, and maintenance work at resort properties.

Monitor ongoing projects and ensure work is completed according to approved drawings, specifications, and timelines.

Coordinate with contractors, vendors, architects, consultants, and site workers.

Inspect construction materials and ensure compliance with required quality standards.

Prepare and review estimates, BOQs, work orders, and project requirements.

Monitor project costs, material usage, and contractor bills.

Conduct regular site inspections and identify structural, civil, or maintenance issues.

Ensure proper execution of works related to buildings, rooms, pathways, swimming pool areas, drainage, landscaping structures, parking areas, and other resort infrastructure.

Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance of civil structures.

Ensure proper documentation of project progress, measurements, and maintenance activities.

Identify construction defects and coordinate corrective actions.

Ensure compliance with safety standards and applicable building regulations.

Coordinate with the management and other departments to minimize disruption to resort operations.

Prepare regular reports on project progress, maintenance activities, costs, and pending work.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field.

2–5 years of relevant experience in civil construction, building maintenance, hospitality, real estate, or infrastructure projects.

Experience in site supervision and contractor management.

Good knowledge of civil construction methods, materials, estimation, and quality control.

Ability to read and understand civil drawings and technical documents.

Knowledge of MS Excel, AutoCAD, and project management tools is preferred.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Good communication and coordination abilities.

Ability to manage multiple projects and maintenance activities.

Willingness to travel between project/resort locations when required.

Preferred Experience

Experience handling renovation and refurbishment projects.

Knowledge of plumbing, drainage, waterproofing, flooring, masonry, concrete, and structural maintenance.

Experience managing contractors and external vendors.

Knowledge of local building codes, safety standards, and statutory requirements.
