PHP CodeIgniter Developer

We are looking for a PHP Developer with strong CodeIgniter experience who can build, maintain, and scale web applications. The ideal candidate should have solid frontend fundamentals and practical experience with web scraping, database management, and large-scale system architecture.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain web applications using PHP & CodeIgniter

- Build responsive interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

- Design and develop REST APIs and backend services

- Develop and maintain web scraping/data extraction systems

- Work with large datasets and optimize database queries

- Design efficient MySQL database structures, relationships, indexes, and queries

- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability

- Participate in designing large-scale and distributed web systems

- Integrate third-party APIs and external services

- Debug, troubleshoot, and improve existing applications

- Write clean, reusable, secure, and maintainable code

Required Skills

Must Have:

- Strong PHP knowledge

- Hands-on experience with CodeIgniter

- Good understanding of HTML5, CSS3 & JavaScript

- Strong MySQL/database management skills

- Practical web scraping experience

- Understanding of REST APIs

- Knowledge of database optimization and query optimization

- Understanding of scalable application architecture

Good to Have:

- Experience with Python/Node.js for scraping or backend tasks

- Selenium / Puppeteer / Playwright

- Redis / caching

- Linux server environment

- Git & GitHub

- Docker

- Elasticsearch or other search technologies

- Experience handling high-volume data

Who We're Looking For

We are looking for someone who is not just a PHP/CodeIgniter coder, but someone who understands how a complete web system works at scale — from frontend and backend to databases, scraping pipelines, APIs, performance, and infrastructure.

 Compensation

₹20,000 – ₹30,000/month, depending on skills, experience, and technical assessment.

Candidates with strong practical skills in web scraping, database optimization, and scalable system design may be considered toward the higher end of the range.
