Job Description
Bookkeeping & Ledger Maintenance:
- Maintain and update day-to-day financial transactions in the general ledger accurately.
- Perform regular ledger scrutiny and balance sheet reconciliations (bank, vendor, and customer accounts).
Accounts Payable (AP) & Receivable (AR):
- Process vendor invoices, verify purchase orders, and manage timely payments.
- Raise customer invoices, track collections, follow up on overdue payments, and manage aging reports.
Taxation & Statutory Compliance:
- Assist in the preparation and filing of monthly/quarterly tax returns (e.g., GST, TDS, VAT, or local equivalents).
- Ensure adherence to local financial regulations, company policies, and statutory compliance frameworks.
Financial Reporting & Auditing Support:
- Assist senior management in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors by providing required documentation and schedules.
