About the RoleLakshay India, a growing career counselling and training company, is expanding its technology and automation capabilities and is inviting applications for the role of AI Agent Developer.

We are looking for a highly practical and execution-focused AI professional who can design, develop, deploy, and continuously improve intelligent AI agents for different business functions.

The selected candidate will work closely with management and operational teams to automate repetitive processes, improve customer communication, support lead management, enhance recruitment workflows, and develop AI-powered systems capable of handling conversations and business tasks independently.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), AI Agents, workflow automation, APIs, CRM integrations, WhatsApp automation, voice AI, and no-code/low-code automation platforms.

Key ResponsibilitiesAI Agent DevelopmentDesign, build, test, deploy, and maintain AI-powered agents for different departments of Lakshay India.

Develop intelligent agents capable of understanding conversations, taking actions, retrieving information, following workflows, and interacting with customers and employees.

Create specialized AI agents for:

• Career counselling support
• Lead qualification
• Student follow-ups
• Appointment scheduling
• Franchise enquiry handling
• Recruitment screening
• Employee onboarding
• Customer support
• Sales follow-ups
• Internal operations

Conversational AI DevelopmentDevelop AI-powered conversational systems for WhatsApp, websites, CRM platforms, and other communication channels.

Create structured prompts, system instructions, knowledge bases, and conversational flows.

Ensure AI agents can maintain conversation context and provide relevant, accurate, and natural responses.

Continuously test and optimize AI conversations to improve response quality and conversion rates.

Voice AI AgentsDevelop and integrate AI voice agents capable of making and receiving calls.

Build AI calling systems for:

• Lead qualification
• Counselling appointment booking
• Recruitment interviews
• Candidate follow-ups
• Customer support
• Franchise enquiries
• Reminder calls

Integrate speech-to-text, text-to-speech, LLMs, telephony systems, and CRM platforms.

Workflow AutomationDesign automated workflows connecting AI agents with internal business systems.

Work with platforms such as:

• n8n
• Make
• Zapier
• APIs and Webhooks
• Google Sheets
• CRM systems
• WhatsApp APIs
• Email platforms
• Recruitment platforms

Automate repetitive operational processes and reduce manual intervention wherever possible.

LLM & Prompt EngineeringWork with leading AI models and platforms such as:

• OpenAI
• ChatGPT
• Claude
• Gemini
• Other LLM APIs

Develop advanced prompts and structured agent instructions.

Create multi-step AI workflows involving reasoning, retrieval, tool usage, decision-making, and automated actions.

Continuously evaluate model performance and optimize prompts for accuracy, speed, and cost efficiency.

API & System IntegrationIntegrate AI agents with third-party applications through APIs and webhooks.

Connect AI systems with:

• CRM
• WhatsApp
• Telephony
• Email
• Calendars
• Google Sheets
• Databases
• HR systems
• Lead-management software

Develop reliable data exchange between different systems.

Knowledge Base & RAG DevelopmentBuild AI knowledge bases using company documents, FAQs, training material, policies, product information, and counselling information.

Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems where required.

Ensure agents retrieve appropriate information before answering users.

Maintain and update AI knowledge bases as company information changes.

AI Agent Monitoring & OptimizationMonitor deployed AI agents for:

• Response accuracy
• Conversation quality
• Lead conversion
• Task completion
• Response time
• Failure rates
• API errors
• Token usage
• Operational cost

Identify problems and continuously improve agent performance.

Data ManagementDesign structured databases and information flows required for AI automation.

Maintain conversation records, lead information, agent activity, task status, and automation logs.

Ensure proper handling and protection of customer and company information.

Business Process AutomationUnderstand existing business workflows and identify opportunities where AI can reduce manual work.

Work directly with management to convert manual processes into scalable AI-driven systems.

Build automation systems capable of supporting large volumes of customers, employees, leads, and franchise partners.

• Skills RequiredStrong understanding of Generative AI and Large Language Models
• Hands-on experience developing AI agents
• Strong prompt engineering skills
• Experience working with OpenAI API or similar LLM APIs
• Experience with n8n, Make, Zapier, or similar automation tools
• Knowledge of APIs, webhooks, and system integrations
• Understanding of conversational AI architecture
• Experience with WhatsApp automation
• Understanding of AI voice agents and telephony integrations
• Knowledge of RAG and vector databases
• Basic knowledge of databases and data structures
• Understanding of CRM and lead-management systems

Candidates should ideally have already developed and deployed working AI agents or automation projects.
