Job Description

Dispatch Operations:

  • Plan, organize, and execute daily dispatch activities.
  • Ensure timely dispatch of materials/products as per delivery schedules.
  • Verify orders, quantities, and delivery details before dispatch.

2. Documentation & Record Keeping:

  • Prepare dispatch documents such as invoices, delivery challans, e-way bills, and packing lists.
  • Maintain accurate records of dispatched goods and inventory movement.
  • Ensure all documentation complies with company policies and legal requirements.

3. Coordination:

  • Coordinate with warehouse, production, and sales teams for order readiness.
  • Liaise with transporters, drivers, and logistics partners for smooth delivery.
  • Track shipments and update internal teams on delivery status.

4. Inventory & Stock Handling:

  • Ensure proper handling, packing, and labeling of goods.
  • Assist in inventory checks and stock reconciliation.
  • Report any discrepancies or damages immediately.

5. Compliance & Safety:

  • Follow all safety procedures during loading and dispatch activities.
  • Ensure compliance with transportation and logistics regulations.

6. Problem Solving:

  • Handle dispatch delays, transportation issues, and customer queries.
  • Provide quick solutions to avoid delivery disruptions.
  • Key Skills & Requirements:Good knowledge of dispatch and logistics processes
  • Familiarity with documentation (Invoice, E-way bill, Challan, etc.)
  • Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, ERP systems preferred)
  • Strong coordination and communication skills
  • Attention to detail and time management
  • Ability to work under pressure
