Job Description

VMC Programmer & Operator

Job Type: Full-Time

Experience: 2–5 Years

Job DescriptionWe are looking for a skilled VMC Programmer & Operator responsible for CNC/VMC programming, machine operation, component machining, and maintaining quality standards.

  • Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and modify VMC programs using G-code/M-code.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
  • Set up VMC machines, tools, work offsets, and job fixtures.
  • Operate VMC machines and monitor machining operations.
  • Perform accurate measurements using vernier calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.
  • Ensure components are manufactured according to required dimensions and tolerances.
  • Optimize cutting parameters, tooling, and machining cycles.
  • Troubleshoot machining and programming issues.
  • Maintain machine, tools, and work area properly.
  • Follow safety and quality procedures.
  • RequirementsITI/Diploma in Mechanical/CNC/VMC or relevant qualification.
  • Hands-on experience with VMC programming and operation.
  • Knowledge of G-code, M-code, tooling, offsets, and machining parameters.
  • Ability to read mechanical drawings and understand GD&T.
  • Experience with Fanuc/Siemens or similar CNC controls is preferred.
  • Good problem-solving and measurement skills.
