Job Description

Operate Manual milling machines safely and efficiently.

Read and interpret engineering drawings and machining specifications.

Perform milling, drilling, slotting, boring, tapping, keyway, facing, and related operations.

Set up machines, workpieces, fixtures, and cutting tools.

Select suitable cutters and set spindle speed, feed, and depth of cut.

Inspect components using vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, dial gauges, and other measuring instruments.

Maintain dimensional accuracy and required surface finish.

Carry out tool changes and necessary machine adjustments.

Identify machining defects and take corrective action.

Maintain production and inspection records.

Follow safety procedures, PPE requirements, and 5S practices.

Achieve production targets without compromising quality.
