Senior Purchase Executive

We are looking for a proactive Purchase Executive to manage end-to-end procurement for domestic and import purchases, including vendor development, price negotiation, sampling, quality checks, and timely delivery of materials/products.

Key Responsibilities

Domestic Purchasing

•    Identify, evaluate, and onboard new vendors/suppliers

•    Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules

•    Arrange and evaluate product samples before finalizing orders

•    Ensure final products are delivered as per quality and timeline requirements

•    Issue Purchase Orders (POs) and track order status until delivery

•    Maintain vendor records, price comparisons, and purchase history

•    Coordinate with internal teams (QC, warehouse, finance) for smooth procurement flow

Import Purchasing

•    Coordinate with freight forwarders/shipping partners for import shipments

•    Arrange and verify import documentation (Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, COO, etc.)

•    Track shipment status and ensure timely customs clearance

•    Liaise with CHA (Customs House Agent) where required

•    Manage import costing (landed cost) in coordination with finance

Requirements

•    Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field

•    Experience in domestic and import procurement

•    Strong negotiation and vendor management skills

•    Working knowledge of import documentation and shipping processes

•    Proficiency in MS Excel / ERP systems

Good to Have

•    Prior experience sourcing from or negotiating with China-based suppliers/vendors

•    Familiarity with international trade terms (Incoterms) and import compliance
