We are looking for a responsible, detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage the day-to-day accounting, statutory compliance and financial records of the company.

Key Responsibilities·      Maintain day-to-day books of accounts in Tally / accounting software

·      Record and verify sales, purchases, expenses, receipts and payments

·      Perform regular bank, cash, POS and payment gateway reconciliations

·      Reconcile UPI, card, Zomato/Swiggy and other online sales, wherever applicable

·      Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable

·      Verify vendor invoices and maintain proper supporting documentation

·      Manage petty cash records and reconciliations

·      Prepare and maintain GST-related records and assist with timely GST return filing

·      Handle TDS calculations, deductions, payments and return-related documentation

·      Assist with payroll accounting and statutory deductions, where applicable

·      Maintain proper records of fixed assets, inventory-related accounting and expenses

·      Coordinate with management for monthly closing of accounts

·      Prepare monthly MIS reports, including:

o  Profit & Loss Statement

o  Expense summaries

o  Sales and collection reconciliation

o  Payables and receivables

o  Cash/bank position

o  Budget vs. actual expenses

·      Coordinate with the company’s CA / tax consultant / auditor for statutory filings, audits and year-end finalisation

·      Ensure all financial transactions have appropriate approvals and supporting documents

·      Highlight discrepancies, unusual expenses, pending payments or control issues to management promptly

·      Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of all financial information

Candidate Requirements·      B.Com / M.Com or equivalent qualification in Accounting/Finance

·      Minimum 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience

·      Good working knowledge of Tally Prime, MS Excel and accounting systems

·      Sound understanding of GST, TDS, bank reconciliation and basic Indian statutory compliance

·      Experience in the restaurant, café, hospitality or retail sector will be an advantage

·      Strong attention to detail and reconciliation skills

·      Ability to work independently and meet monthly reporting deadlines

·      Good communication and coordination skills

·      High level of integrity, confidentiality and accountability

Preferred CandidateWe are particularly looking for someone who is hands-on rather than purely supervisory and can independently manage accounting entries, reconciliations, documentation and coordination with the CA.
