Extuder Machine Opertor

We are looking for an experienced Extruder Machine Operator for our wire manufacturing operations. The candidate will be responsible for operating and monitoring wire extrusion machines used for insulation/coating of electrical wires and cables, ensuring smooth production and maintaining required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor wire extrusion machines for insulation/coating of wires and cables.
• Set up the extrusion machine according to production requirements.
• Adjust and monitor temperature, extrusion speed, line speed, pressure, and other machine parameters.
• Ensure proper feeding of conductor/wire and insulation material.
• Monitor the extrusion process continuously to maintain consistent production.
• Check wire diameter, insulation thickness, surface finish, and overall quality during production.
• Identify and correct common extrusion defects such as uneven insulation, bubbles, scratches, diameter variation, and poor coating.
• Maintain proper alignment and tension of the wire during extrusion.
• Change dies, tooling, and other machine components as required.
• Carry out routine machine cleaning and basic maintenance.
• Record production quantities, material consumption, machine settings, and quality observations.
• Coordinate with the Production and Quality teams to resolve production or quality issues.
• Follow production schedules and achieve daily production targets.
• Follow all machine safety and workplace safety procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper housekeeping around the machine and production area.
