ABOUT THE ROLE

SkillsNCR is looking for a Business Operations Executive who wants to learn how an early-stage company actually gets built.

We are especially interested in freshers and people looking for their first serious professional opportunity.

You do not need years of experience.

We care much more about whether you can:

• Learn quickly

• Understand instructions

• Take ownership

• Work hard

• Communicate confidently

• Figure things out

• Follow up without being chased

• Get things completed

This is NOT a narrowly defined desk job.

SkillsNCR is still in an early build and validation stage. Priorities can change quickly, and you may need to wear different hats depending on what the business needs.

WHAT YOU MAY WORK ON

Your responsibilities may include:

• Business and operational coordination

• Research and information gathering

• Maintaining spreadsheets, trackers and documents

• Calling and following up with customers, candidates, vendors or partners

• Supporting recruitment and interview coordination

• Coordinating meetings and appointments

• Finding and comparing vendors, venues and service providers

• Supporting school, community and business events

• Helping with customer-facing activities

• Supporting lead follow-ups and basic business development activities

• Drafting emails, WhatsApp messages and simple documents

• Using ChatGPT, Google Sheets, Docs and other digital tools

• Visiting locations within Gurgaon when required

• Supporting events and on-ground execution

• Following up on pending work until it is completed

• Solving small operational problems independently

• Supporting new business priorities as they come up

The role will evolve as the company grows.

WHAT WE DO NOT EXPECT

We do not expect you to already know how to do everything.

We are happy to teach someone who is willing to learn.

What we do expect is effort, curiosity and visible improvement.

If the same thing needs to be explained repeatedly, or you need constant reminders to complete tasks, this role may not be the right fit.

EARLY-STAGE REALITY

Please understand this before applying.

SkillsNCR is not yet a large, established company with fixed departments and mature processes.

You may sometimes work on:

Operations today

Customer conversations tomorrow

An event the next day

Research after that

There may also be occasional evening or weekend requirements for events or important business activities, with prior coordination.

If you enjoy variety, responsibility and learning by actually doing things, you may enjoy this environment.

If you want a very predictable role with a fixed list of tasks every day, this may not be the right opportunity.

LOCATION REQUIREMENT

You must CURRENTLY live in Gurgaon / Gurugram.

This role involves regular in-person work and may also require travel within Gurgaon for:

• Events

• Meetings

• Vendor coordination

• Customer activities

• Other business requirements

This is not a remote position.

Applicants planning to relocate to Gurgaon later should clearly mention this before applying.
