Chef

We are looking for an experienced DCDP Chef who can independently handle café kitchen operations and maintain consistency during service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and execute dishes as per standard recipes
• Handle café-style food including pizzas, pastas, sandwiches, eggs, salads and breakfast items
• Manage daily mise-en-place and ensure the kitchen is service-ready
• Maintain consistency in taste, portioning, presentation and quality
• Supervise and guide junior kitchen staff
• Monitor stock levels and communicate ordering requirements
• Follow FIFO, storage, labelling and food safety standards
• Control wastage and portion sizes
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen
• Coordinate with the service and bar teams during busy hours
• Support inventory checks and kitchen opening/closing procedures
• Independently manage the kitchen/section when required

Requirements:

• 3–5 years of relevant kitchen experience
• Previous experience as CDP, DCDP or Senior Commis preferred
• Strong experience in continental or café-style food
• Ability to independently manage service
• Good knowledge of food safety, storage and kitchen hygiene
• Responsible, punctual and disciplined
• Ability to work under pressure and manage junior staff
• Flexible to work weekends and public holidays

Salary: ₹32,000–₹35,000 per month, depending on experience and capability
