English Teacher

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and passionate English Teacher to deliver high-quality instruction in English language and literature. The ideal candidate will be responsible for helping students develop strong reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension skills, while fostering a love for language and literature.

Key Responsibilities:

  Plan and deliver engaging English lessons aligned with the academic curriculum.

  Teach grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, writing, and literature.

  Encourage student participation through interactive learning and discussions.

  Design and assess assignments, tests, and exams to evaluate student progress.

  Provide individualized support to students as needed.

  Maintain a positive and disciplined classroom environment.

  Keep records of student attendance, grades, and academic performance.

  Communicate regularly with parents and school staff regarding student development.

  Integrate educational technology and resources to enhance learning outcomes.

  Participate in school meetings, training sessions, and extracurricular activities.

Requirements:

  Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Education, or a related field.

  B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification (preferred).

  Proven experience as an English teacher or in a similar role.

  Excellent command of spoken and written English.

  Strong communication and classroom management skills.

  Familiarity with the applicable board curriculum (CBSE, ICSE, State Board, etc.).

Preferred Skills:

  Ability to teach creative writing, public speaking, and literature analysis.

  Knowledge of digital teaching tools and online platforms.

  Patience, creativity, and a passion for language education.
