Junior Accountant

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Junior Accountant with around 2 years of experience to support our Finance & Accounts team. The candidate will be responsible for day-to-day accounting, reconciliations, documentation, and assisting with statutory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting entries and maintain accurate financial records.
• Maintain sales, purchase, cash, bank, and journal entries.
• Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities.
• Prepare and verify invoices, bills, debit notes, and credit notes.
• Perform bank, vendor, customer, and ledger reconciliations.
• Assist in GST reconciliation, GST returns, and TDS-related activities.
• Track outstanding payments and coordinate with vendors and clients.
• Maintain proper records of vouchers, invoices, and supporting documents.
• Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and MIS.
• Support the Senior Accountant during monthly closing and audit activities.
• Coordinate with internal departments for accounting-related requirements.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of accounting tasks.
• Perform other finance and accounting duties assigned by management.

Skills & Qualifications

• B.Com / M.Com or equivalent qualification in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Good knowledge of Tally Prime / accounting software.
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel.
• Practical knowledge of GST, TDS, and basic taxation.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
