Pharmacist

Role Overview

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Pharmacist to manage pharmacy operations at our Ayurvedic Hospital. The candidate will be responsible for dispensing prescribed medicines, maintaining medicine stock, and ensuring proper storage and availability of medicines as per hospital requirements. 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Dispense Ayurvedic medicines as prescribed by doctors and ensure the correct medicines are issued to patients.
2. Maintain adequate stock of medicines and monitor expiry dates.
3. Handle medicine procurement, stock registers, billing, and inventory records.
4. Ensure proper storage, handling, and labelling of medicines.
5. Coordinate with doctors, nursing staff, and hospital administration for medicine requirements.
6. Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and proper organisation of the pharmacy.
7. Follow applicable pharmacy regulations and hospital policies.
8. Ensure medicines are issued accurately and maintain proper documentation. 

Eligibility Criteria:

1. D.Pharm or B.Pharm qualification from a recognized institution.
2. Valid pharmacist registration/license, as applicable under relevant regulations.
3. Experience in a hospital or Ayurvedic pharmacy will be preferred.
4. Knowledge of Ayurvedic medicines and their storage requirements.
5. Basic computer knowledge and inventory management skills.
6. Good communication skills, attention to detail, and a responsible approach to work.
