Job Description


  • Job Responsibilities – Bakery Salesman... Welcome and assist customers in a polite, professional, and friendly manner.
  • Explain bakery products, ingredients, flavours, sizes, and current offers to customers.
  • Recommend cakes, pastries, breads, snacks, and beverages based on customer requirements.
  • Handle billing, cash, UPI, card payments, and issue receipts accurately.
  • Maintain proper display of bakery products, ensuring shelves and counters remain clean, attractive, and well-stocked.
  • Monitor product freshness and remove expired or damaged items from display.
  • Pack cakes and bakery items carefully for takeaway and delivery orders.
  • Coordinate with the kitchen and production team for order availability and customer special requests.
  • Record daily sales, customer orders, and stock movement as instructed by management.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the sales area according to food safety guidelines.
  • Assist in receiving stock and arranging products in the store.
  • Promote ongoing offers, festival specials, and loyalty or discount schemes to increase sales.
  • Handle customer complaints professionally and report issues to the supervisor when required.
  • Support home delivery and online order operations when needed.
  • Achieve daily sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the bakery business.
