Position: US Taxation – International Voice Process 

Job Overview

We are looking for skilled and dedicated professionals with experience in US taxation and tax preparation. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of US individual taxation, excellent communication skills, and the ability to interact professionally with US clients.

Key Responsibilities

1. Handle inbound and outbound calls with US clients.

2. Communicate professionally with US taxpayers and explain tax-related requirements.

3. Collect and verify W-2, 1099, 1098, K-1 and other tax documents.

4. Prepare and/or assist in preparing US Individual Income Tax Returns (Form 1040).

5. Work with federal and state tax returns.

6. Understand common tax schedules, including Schedule A, B, C, D and E.

7. Identify missing information and follow up with clients.

8. Review prepared tax returns for accuracy before submission.

9. Resolve basic tax-related client queries and escalate complex technical issues.

10. Maintain client information and documentation securely.

11. Meet quality, productivity and turnaround-time targets.

Candidate Requirements

1. Minimum 1 years of hands-on US taxation

2. Strong knowledge of US Individual Taxation and Form 1040.

3. Prior experience communicating with US clients is strongly preferred.

4. Excellent spoken English with neutral/clear pronunciation.

5. Strong listening and customer-handling skills.

6. Knowledge of federal and state taxation.

7. Ability to work independently during the US tax season.

8. Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance or a related field preferred.

9. EA/CPA certification is an advantage but not mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications

● Experience in international voice processes.

● Previous experience in US accounting or taxation firms.

● Ability to handle US clients confidently.

● Good understanding of US tax laws and filing procedures.
