Bakery Assistant

Key Responsibilities:

1. Basic Food Preparation

• Assist in preparing baked items (measuring ingredients, mixing, shaping, proofing, etc.)
• Support in preparing fillings, toppings, and basic recipes
• Follow standard recipes and hygiene guidelines

2. Packaging & Display

• Pack baked goods neatly and hygienically
• Label products correctly (name, date, pricing if required)
• Arrange items attractively in display cases
• Assist with bulk or custom order packaging

3. Cleaning & Hygiene

• Wash utensils, trays, mixing bowls, and baking equipment
• Clean workstations before and after shifts
• Sweep and mop floors as required
• Ensure bakery area meets food safety standards at all times

4. Stock & Inventory Support

• Check daily stock of ingredients and packaging materials
• Inform supervisor about low stock
• Help in receiving and organizing raw materials

5. General Support

• Assist team members during rush hours
• Help load/unload supplies
• Follow instructions from Head Baker/Manager
• Maintain punctuality and discipline

SHIFT TIMINGS AT THE STORE:

• Morning Shift: 7 AM to 4 PM (8 hours working, 1 hour break)
• Evening Shift: 2 PM to 11 PM (8 hours working, 1 hour break)
• There is pay for overtime work by the hour
• Sundays are holidays (6 days working only)
