Job Description

We are looking for a Commis Chef to join our Central Kitchen team. The candidate will assist in bulk food preparation and production while maintaining quality, hygiene, and consistency.


Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare food as per standard recipes and SOPs.
  • Assist in bulk preparation of gravies, sauces, rice, proteins and other food items.
  • Follow portioning, weighing and production instructions.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen.
  • Handle kitchen equipment safely.
  • Follow food safety and storage procedures.
  • Assist in packing and labelling prepared food products.
  • Maintain proper kitchen discipline and minimise food wastage.
  • Support the Chef/Supervisor in daily production activities.


Requirements

  • Basic knowledge of Indian/Chinese/Continental food preparation.
  • Minimum 1 Year Experience
  • Experience in a commercial or bulk kitchen is an advantage.
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Good hygiene and discipline.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
