Job Description

Job Summary

Responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems, equipment, wiring, and fixtures to ensure safe and efficient operation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, lighting systems, switches, sockets, and distribution boards.
  • Troubleshoot electrical faults and carry out corrective maintenance.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on electrical equipment and machinery.
  • Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
  • Inspect electrical systems, cables, circuit breakers, motors, and panels.
  • Ensure proper earthing, insulation, and electrical safety.
  • Follow electrical safety procedures, lockout/tagout (LOTO), and permit-to-work requirements.
  • Maintain records of maintenance activities, breakdowns, and repairs.
  • Coordinate with supervisors and other maintenance personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable electrical standards.
