Job SummaryWe are looking for a Hardware & Network Engineer / Desktop Support Engineer to provide first-level IT support to employees and maintain the organization's hardware, software, network, and IT infrastructure.

The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office, Active Directory, computer hardware, networking, troubleshooting, and ticketing systems. Knowledge of CCNA, CCTV, biometric systems, and network security will be an added advantage.

• Key ResponsibilitiesProvide first-level technical support for hardware, software, network, and system-related issues.
• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other IT peripherals.
• Perform Windows, Linux, and Mac OS system installations and application installations.
• Troubleshoot hardware issues involving desktops, laptops, servers, printers, and networking equipment.
• Configure and maintain LAN, Wi-Fi, Internet, and corporate WAN connectivity.
• Configure LAN, wireless, and USB printers and scanners.
• Manage user accounts and email accounts.
• Provide remote desktop support when required.
• Manage IT support tickets and maintain accurate records of incidents and resolutions.
• Assist with hardware upgrades, system installations, and new equipment setup.
• Maintain IT infrastructure and support employees with day-to-day technical issues.
• Perform CCTV and biometric system maintenance.
• Assist with backup management and data restoration.
• Perform user data validation and ensure data availability.
• Support basic IT security systems, including firewalls, antivirus, authentication systems, intrusion detection, and log management.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation and support procedures.
• Coordinate with other IT teams to resolve complex technical issues.
• Communicate effectively with end-users and provide excellent customer service.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Good understanding of Microsoft products and Windows environments.
• Preferred / Additional SkillsCCNA certification or knowledge is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of networking standards and enterprise networks.
• Understanding of Microsoft OS internals.
• Knowledge of Internet security and data privacy principles.
• Experience with CCTV and biometric systems.
